Bes days of the week

Tuesday ... the most popular day to have a baby - but Saturdays are best if you want your child to be a winner..
BLUE Monday? Nah, Tuesday is when we're most likely to feel down in the dumps, according to latest research from the London School of Economics.

But whatever day it is, there's always something we can do to get the most out of life -KATE WIGHTON reports.

MONDAY

Best for de-stressing: Find time to chill out, advises a study in the British Medical Journal. It says you are 20 per cent more likely to die of a heart attack on a Monday due to the fall-out from weekend alcohol bingeing and the stress of returning to work.

Best for staying put: Avoid the stress of blaring horns and traffic jams by working from home. The AA says their busiest time on the roads is from 8am to 10am on Mondays when cars won't start because of flat batteries after they've been left standing over the weekend.

Rubbish for starting a diet: A third of people who begin to cut calories on a Monday have given it up by Tuesday evening, according to a Yahoo poll.

TUESDAY

Best for nailing that to-do list: We're most productive, on this day, with almost a quarter of UK executives polled by Gallup saying it's the day to get things done. A huge 39 per cent said Monday was their least productive day.

A separate study by the US Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology says our rational "left" brain dominates thinking early in the week and is better for routine, mundane jobs.

WEDNESDAY

Best for looking for love: This day is ideal for a first date, say more than 40 per cent of 8,000 singletons polled. If it goes well you get a handy day's breathing space before the follow-on Friday date. And if it doesn't work out, you can arrange to see friends at the weekend and not dwell on your disaster.

Asking for a raise: Bosses are most receptive to requests for pay rises on Wednesdays, a survey of more than 1,500 UK top brass shows. On Mondays, they're too busy prepping for the week ahead and dealing with emails from the weekend. And by Thursday and Friday, they're thinking about the weekend and more likely to turn down requests.

THURSDAY

Best for hospital stays: Check in on a Thursday and you're more likely to be forced to stay longer - a full 24 hours more than patients admitted on a Sunday - according to a study by the Institute for Public Policy Research. Patients admitted on a Thursday stay 6.3 days on average, compared with 5.3 on a Sunday.

FRIDAY

Best for quitting smoking: Stub out the fags on this day and you can survive the temptations of the weekend, US researchers found. This is because the first few days are when your willpower is at its strongest.

Rubbish for making big decisions: We're more likely to be sleep-starved at the end of the working week and less able to think clearly, according to body clock expert Martin Moore-Ede. And while investors play safe earlier on, they're statistically more likely to take risks on a Friday to hit their end-week targets, say economists from Emporia State University in Kansas.

SATURDAY

Best for staying sober: There are almost 70 per cent more admissions to hospital on this day due to alcohol abuse compared to the daily average, according to the British Medical Journal.

Best for having a baby: While Tuesdays are the most popular day to have babies, the Office for National Statistics shows, Saturdays are best if you want your child to be a winner.

According to the ONS, children born on this day have a better chance of becoming Prime Minister - of 21 PMs since 1900, six have been born on a Saturday.

SUNDAY

Best for eating out: Preparing a traditional Sunday roast is more stressful than going to the dentist, according to one in five people surveyed. So take the load off and treat you and yours - meaning someone else can deal with the washing up.

Best for making virtual contact: If you want someone to actually read your personal - not work - emails, send them on Sundays, say web research company eMarketer.

Their research shows that "open" and "click" rates for emails sent then are higher than any other day, with just over 30 per cent of recipients opening their emails instantly.

The worst day is Wednesday, with an open rate of just 23 per cent.

Fated?

Morning started in a good mood for me today. And ended very fast soon after that. While on the car going to work, as usual i wanna catch a glimpse of today's hot news, a sudden surge of sorrow covered my feelings immediately after reading the headline of  The Star. Such a heart -breaking news. A mother lost her 4 DAYS old baby to monkeys and the baby died in front of her own eyes. My hands are shivering even to write the sentence let alone , the news was still bugging me for hours since morning.

I just cant imagine the whole situation. My concentration is all along -referring to the one and only thing..FATE. It is fated that the baby to be born healthy. it is fated , that the mother survive the 9 months and the labor pain. it is fated the baby is born to a complete family -having father , mother, grandpa..and so on. and also it is fated that the baby to die in 4 days time. it is fated that the baby will die in front of the mom's eye itself. and it is fated the way it  will die.

I know -thousands eyes who have read the news, would have closed a minute..praying to God.. thousands mouth would have discussed the news with at least 1 other person. many thousands minds might be thinking about the same news at the point of me writing this. But all this is just a news to us. It will be soon erased after hours.

i still cant imagine the trauma the mother going through rite at  the moment. how much longing that she went through- throughout the nine months, the labor pain she endured, the love that she carried all these months and seeing the child as gift of god.. a lost in just minutes and the loss is not a peaceful one either. she lost her child in front of her own eyes. how much scream she would have done and how much heart ache she would have felt when seeing the child on rooftop with a monkey. how the brain and heart explode at the same time when seeing the child in blood and being thrown from rooftop.

Fate? blame on fate.. what if the gate is closed. what if the mother didn't leave to the toilet? what if the grandpa didn't leave the child alone? any of this events would have saved the baby.. but it is fated..

anyone wants to complain that they are suffering ? think again what  "suffer" means. just pray to HIM. when things happen based on the fate, let HIM handheld us and wrap us with HIS love, so that we still can face what is fated for us...

My prayers for you, dear baby - to be released from this world..to attain nirvana, maybe that's why u were short lived in this world - to complete your circle of karma and to attain moksha.
and my prayers for you dear mom....no words can console you, nothing can even divert ur feelings and mind rite now...pls, pls , pray for HIS love to make you stronger and to make you to move on.

FATEfully...

More grey hairs..?!

Things we see, we think and we do will always undergo transformation. This transformation can be accordance to different factors for different person. It can be by social strata, professional line, family situation or whatever the reason could be. But all this reasons are in Y axis and the most static in X axis will be age factor.

When you are a young graduate, your professional line is just started and age factor is still in early stages. You just don't mind any jobs, as long as it can make money for you. So, you will start calculating the money value and how best the job will be compared to another one. With the age factor increasing slowly, you will start questioning some other things that brings value to you, not just money. Permanent job, family preferences or your companion preferences. You just don't see how fun or how good it is. But start thinking deeply , if is that what you wanted.

The recent outsourcing from A to B has brought a lot of thinking in me. That is the trigger point. There are days, when i think i just want to hell get out of the place. i stop giving effort more than 40 %. I just keep applying for any job available in the market. just an interview opportunity is enough.
Do i really want to work in some ABC company just for the sake i want to  be out from here? am i ok to work in an environment which doesn't provide me work satisfaction?  isn't it my fault to apply without considering the fact what i am expecting? why blame others when you have the opportunity to choose what you want?.

There are a lot more things that needs the consideration. it's age! u need a place where they cover you, financially with good medical benefits . they maybe able to match the salary you requested, but what about other surety? what kind of clients they have? how professional they can treat you? how much tolerance that they can give u?

Maybe i am just not making use of what i am given rather than complaint abt everything.

be mature !be mature!

How i wish....

It's is often ..how i wish...
why?
bcoz ,we alwiz missed something and regret at the end of the day....
I wish i have used up time properly..i wish i have learned how to at the beginning stage itself... how i wish and how i wish..

Then..what happen..  just keep on bragging? things are still not too late for anything now. you still can wake up and start moving..
It's perhap the first move that you wanna make rather the qualm how i wish..

It's up to us ,at the end of day what we wish to have and what we have gotten.
Remember...! Not all the time we will get a second chance, so make use what we have wisely...
